2007 Open House

The Lyndale Open House will be on Thursday, March 22nd at the Lyndale Community School from 6 to 8:30 pm. The school is located at 34th st and Grand Ave.

The theme for this year's Open House is Lyndale:A Fortunate Neighborhood.

What Makes Lyndale a Fortunate Neighborhood?

Why are we so fortunate to be in the Lyndale Neighborhood? Is it our central location, easy access to the lakes, downtown, jobs, and transit? No, what makes Lyndale such a fortunate neighborhood is the people. Whether it’s the people who spend countless hours working on neighborhood issues, a neighbor who helps shovel your walk, or just a friendly face you see down the block. What makes Lyndale fortunate is the people.

One of the things that we’re adding to this year’s open house is a neighbor recognition program. If there are people you would like to thank or think deserve recognition send an email to mark at mark@lyndale.org or give him a call at 612.824.9402 ext 16 and let him know who the person is and why we’re fortunate to have them in the neighborhood. We’ll use these stories throughout the Open House to highlight some of the great people we have living in our neighborhood.
