Eating for Art
All day long on Thursday, September 17th
Want a good excuse to spend all day eating at great local restaurants. On Thursday, September 17th we’re giving you the perfect excuse – Eating for Art. Now in its third year, Eating for Art partners local restaurants and the Lyndale and Kingfield Neighborhood Associations to raise money for neighborhood art projects.
This year the money raised will be split between two community-arts projects. A new Family Arts programming initiative at Leonardo’s Basement supported by KFNA that is helping to build families’ connections across our neighborhood, and encourage exploration and experimentation in the arts; and the Hosmer Music and Dance from Around the World Program, which is a partnership between LNA and Hosmer Library that brings free live music and dance programming to Hosmer Library and Painter Park.
