The Lyndale Neighborhood Association is currently looking for a couple of good people to serve on the LNA Board. In December, Randy Ferguson and Courtney Lerdon left the board. Courtney who had been a long-time manager and part owner of Champion’s Sports Bar left to pursue other career opportunities outside of the neighborhood and Randy left the board to focus his time on other endeavors, but is planning on staying involved as a block club leader and as a regular contributor to the Lyndale Neighborhood News.
The two resignations have created two vacancies on the LNA board. Both seats were elected in June of this past year and would run from the time of appointment through June 2011. The process for being appointed to one of these seats is simple; you just have to express your interest; the board will then make an appointment at its regular meeting, which must be confirmed at the next General Membership meeting.
