This year the City of Minneapolis will be using Ranked Choice Voting for the first time. To help educate people about how the system works LNA will be partnering with the City of Minneapolis on Saturday, October 24th for a targeted doorknock of precincts 10-5 & 10-9. It would be great to have some Lyndale Community members here to help educate people how the new system works. We’ll be running two shifts out of the LNA office (3537 Nicollet Ave) that day, with one starting at 10:00 am and the other at 1:00 pm.
The day will start with a quick training about how the system works; we’ll also have all the materials that you need to help educate your neighbors about the new system. Let me know if you’re willing to volunteer an hour or two to help make sure everyone understands how to vote this year. To volunteer contact Mark at 612.824.9402 ex 16
