Are you interested in eliminating graffiti in Lyndale. If so, LNA’s Eliminate Graffiti Program is for you. The Eliminate Graffiti Program has three different components all designed to reduce the amount of graffiti in the neighborhood.
Graffiti Busters
The Graffiti Busters Program is designed to help community members remove graffiti as quickly as possible. LNA has several graffiti removal kits available in the neighborhood office for people to check out and is in the process of hiring and training a couple of people to actively clean up all the graffiti in the neighborhood. You can also volunteer to help the LNA Graffiti Busters clean up the graffiti in the neighborhood.
Light-Up Lyndale
The second component of the Lyndale Eliminate Graffiti Program is matching grants that LNA has available for property owners and businesses to improve lighting in the neighborhood. This program encourages property owners to light up areas of the neighborhood that are hidden in darkness and frequent targets of graffiti by providing matching funds for exterior lighting projects. Cover-Up Program
Lyndale’s Cover-Up Program seeks to build on the success and capacity built during last summer’s Walldogs on Nicollet project. This year’s goal is to work with local artists, community members, property owners, and business owners to shrink the amount of prime real estate available to taggers by increasing the amount of public art and greenscaping in the neighborhood.
