Join us at the November General Membership meeting to hear about LNA’s new housing programs – which include low interest loan programs for single-family and multi-family housing units; a program to help create affordable, green housing in the neighborhood, and an innovative way to help renters in Lyndale become home owners. At the meeting we will also be hearing from Restorative Justice in Action, who LNA is partnering with on a restorative justice program for the neighborhood. We will also be holding a community vote on LNA’s 2010 budget. Treats for the meeting will be provided by Holly Reckel and Lisa Lewis.
Childcare is available through Leonardo’s at Lyndale for children 4 to 12 years old, starting at 6:30 pm, at Painter Park. For more information check out www.lyndale.org, or contact Mark Hinds at 612.824.9402 ext 16.

To help out during the Holiday Season LNA is collecting food for the Sabathani Food Shelf between November 9th and November 23rd. Just bring your nonperishable food item to the November General Membership meeting or drop it off at the LNA office (3537 Nicollet Avenue) and we’ll deliver all of the items to the Food Shelf on the 24th. The Sabathani Food Shelf serves the Lyndale Neighborhood, so you’ll know your donation is going to help your fellow community members.
