About General Membership Meetings
General Membership meetings are Lyndale's Monthly Community Meetings that take place on the fourth Monday of the month (except August & December) at Painter Park (34th & Lyndale) from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. All community members are encouraged to attend General Membership meetings. General Membership meetings are designed to provide a chance for community members to connect with each other, discuss important community issues, learn about things impacting their lives, and decide the direction of their neighborhood. Childcare is available for children 4 to 12 years old at Painter Park during the meeting. For more information about the meeting, contact Mark Hinds at (612) 824-9402, ext. 16.
LNA takes an inclusive approach to defining community members, LNA considers anyone who lives in the neighborhood, whether it is in a house, apartment, condo, etc to be an important part of the neighborhood. LNA also encourages businesses owners and their employees to be involved in the neigborhood by participating in General Membership meetings, being involved in the Lyndale Neighborhood Business Association, or with any of LNA's other commitees or activities.

We will work with a variety of materials from recycled art materials to clay. Our goal is to bring kids together to create interesting and fun art activities while parents have a chance to attend the Lyndale General Membership Meetings. All are welcome!

On Monday, July 27th LNA held its annual meeting at Painter Park. The night started with a community BBQ and potluck. LNA provided hot dogs, veggie burgers, and chips – community members provided a plethora of other tasty side dishes.

Childcare Superhero
Both the Women’s Leadership and ESL Programs provide childcare enabling community members who would otherwise be unable to attend. Be a superhero and volunteer as a childcare assistant!
