January General Membership Meeting

January General Membership Meeting
Monday, January 23rd
6:30 to 8:00 pm at Painter Park (34th & Lyndale)

Join us on Monday, January 23rd, for an important Lyndale General Membership Meeting. At this meeting, we will be holding our annual Legislative Preview with Lyndale legislators. So far we have confirmed:
• Senator Jeff Hayden
• Representative Frank Hornstein
• Senator Scott Dibble
• Representative Susan Allen

This is a great chance for you to discuss the upcoming legislative session with your elected representatives. The Minneapolis Police Department will also be presenting Myrtle Vikla with a commendation for diligence in keeping watch over the neighborhood.

All community members are encouraged to attend General Membership meetings. General Membership meetings are designed to provide a chance for community members to connect with each other, discuss important community issues, learn about things impacting their lives, and decide the direction of their neighborhood. Treats at this meeting will be provided by Council member Meg Tuthill.

We also will be holding our new children’s art class, led by Paula Landis. Th e art class is free and will take place during all General Membership meetings this year as something fun for kids to do in the neighborhood and so parents can attend General Membership meetings. For more information about the meeting, contact Mark Hinds at (612) 824-9402, ext. 16 or mark@lyndale.org.
