We're switching from our usual format to a free, in-person mutual aid resource event. All items are still free for anyone that needs them. Instead of bringing items to the event, we're requesting donations be dropped off ahead of time, so we can sort them.*
To GIVE: Drop off items at the SNAC office (3537 Nicollet Ave) from 9am to 6pm on February 3rd, 5th, 10th, and 12th. Donations on the day of the event will also be accepted.
To RECEIVE items for yourself or for families/neighbors you may be supporting, join us at Painter Park on February 12th, 5:30-7:30pm.
Most Needed Items:
Winter Gear (coats, gloves, scarfs, etc.)
Toys
Art Supplies (playdough, pipecleaners, markers & crayons)
Essential Supplies (Diapers, Toiletries, Menstrual Products, Soap)
Shelf stable food (open or expired food will be thrown away)
*We will continue to honor the donation reservations from those previously signed up to participate in our Free Fest prior to our event update.
To VOLUNTEER: Use the sign up form here and choose which time and task you’d like. We especially need help transporting items and setting up/tearing down the event.
Note: Painter Park, as a Minneapolis Park District Building, is a public area where ICE cannot be denied entry. Please be aware of the potential risks associated with attending this event and plan accordingly.
